Mr. Tan is an accomplished veteran in equity research, with a career spanning a period of over 36 years, from Investment Analyst to Head of Research in leading Singaporean banks.

Mr. Tan spent 14 years as Senior Vice President (Research Division) at Maybank Research Pte Ltd and was a licensed financial advisor under The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). He spearheaded the Singapore retail equities research team to provide in depth analysis of SGX-listed and selected US-listed companies.

Mr Tan's 36-year career in equity research covered the 1987 Wall Street crash, 1997 Asian financial crisis and 2008 subprime mortgage crisis. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics & Sociology from The National University of Singapore and joined PFYN in Aug 2022 as Executive Director and Director of Portfolio Management.
